Driving back 16 hours from NY , I had plenty of time to think.
The journey of life can be like automobiles on a highway.
Everyday people are like regular cars. That of course can go either way, those cars can be taken care of on the regular or abused, no maintanance…nothing. Pregnant women are those huge semi trucks that transports new cars. They are carrying new products and doing it until they reach their destination and it’s time to “unload”. After unloading, the new mother becomes an RV with a new car attached on a dollie in the back. Teens are motorcycles. Senior Citizens are expensive rare cars, they are out there but they must not be driven as regular cars. Outer and inner maintanence is more often than just an everyday car.
It’s like from the moment you are born you are unloaded onto the highway of life. At the beginning you are entering this road at low speeds, connected to that RV. While still attached, you see these green signs that merge onto other highways and smaller back roads. The RV does not turn down most of these and makes judegments as to where you will be going. Pretty soon you feel you need speed and don’t want to be apart of this RV anymore.
Now, the RV has changed into a car driving along side you, and you are a motorcyle. Somewhat on your own now, but that car driving along side you will decide to speed up and leave you alone , not you. Sometimes it does, to give you a taste of what it will soon be like. Sometimes it doesn’t move away even when you wanted it to. Some other motorcyles may ride with you , maybe even a group of them may join you and you all ride as a group…and then you see them turn off on some strange exits and may wonder what that is all about. You may see some motorcycles turn off on some exits that may not be for them right now, and see the from the bypass, LOTS and LOTS of those semi- trucks with new cars! Motorcycles not even giving time to evolve to cars…..just going straight to the Semi’s! Soon, that car along side you drives off, and you are now a car!
On your own, ready to read, understand and perhaps, turn off on one of those exits. Eventually, you will become one of those rare and expensive cars. Only to drive off and into the sunset at the end, on your final exit…..
Man I had too much time to think!LOL!
Take it Easy!
